IHOP® National Pancake Day


 

National Pancake Day is IHOP's biggest day of the year in terms of traffic and social/digital engagement. In 2016 we added some buzz to the already big day by going to our New York office and creating a "war room" to follow all trends and happenings of the day. Prior to NPD we created personalized gifs that would allow fans to invite other fans to go to IHOP through Twitter. Creating real time content and seeing the trends of the day happen while we were working was an integral part of the NPD experience. With spots on Good Morning America and AdWeek following us around for the day, it was another entertaining pancake centered project to work on.
